I've been on. Body(bones) recovery missions as early as 10 yrs ago! Walking paddy fields behind mine sweepers and (MEN) Bouncing Betty's etc..stopped counting after 100 fresh meat! Now it's a fucking tourism site..Jane Fonda you will never see these eyes!!!
"No man can find the war" Tim Buckley // "War sucks" The red crayola// "Suntrip" Grobschnitt // "the bird is the word" can't remember the group but its about [choppers in Nam] // "War" Ramses// "Fourth day of July" Tom Rapp// "the work is done" Birth control // "War pigs" Black sabbath [duh]//
I think of the hell my brother went through. He was the punching bag between me and my half sisters and our mom and stepdad for years. He turned 18 in 1968 and couldn’t take it anymore so he join the Navy and was and was sent to Nam. He was only there for 6-8 months at a Navy land depot. It got motor one night and he was blown up. Where they found him they found his flak vest 100 yards away still zipped up. He came home blind in the right eye and deaf in the right ear. He passed away a couple of years ago now may God bless his soul.

I was a Senior Navy Corpsman for a marine line company 2nd Marine Division. Welcome home all my forgotten brothers and sisters. It’s amazing how many people in the 1960’s wouldn’t give a vet the time of day. Now it’s “Thank you for your service” 🤔
Unfortunately vets, especially those that didn't make it, are being used to glorify the despicable business of war. Nothing the politicos like better than being on tv laying a wreath in memory of all those they were instrumental in killing. To them, it's just a photo opportunity. War makes money for these bstrds.
My dad was on hamburger hill with his guys. He came home but never talked about it. Best dad/hero a girl could dream of. His USMC dress cover sat on his dresser til the end. 🙌🏻

Lynyrd Skynyrd did not exist in the 60's.
